Before the Home button was eliminated from iPhones and iPads, Home + Power buttons pressed simultaneously was the stock way to take screenshots.
Since the home button has returned in the iPhone SE 2, we might see Apple retaining the current screenshot function of iPhones to avoid confusion. Power + Volume up buttons.
There’s also a chance that they might decide to roll back the years and bring back the home button into the screenshot business. We’ll see in a weeks time!
